2022 FULTON AWARD | RDC PROPERTY GROUP

Held every two years – with 2021’s event postponed due to COVID – the Fulton Awards, presented by Cement and Concrete SA, recognises excellence in the design, use and innovation of concrete.

At the 2022 event, held on Friday, 10 June at a gala function in Johannesburg and streamed live to Cape Town and Durban, @oldcapequarter designed by dhk for @rdcpropertygroup, was awarded the 2022 Fulton Award for ‘Innovation and Invention in Concrete’.

The judges were impressed by the ‘manner in which four storeys were added to a Cape Town heritage building while still preserving its historic outer walls’. The project was entered by @afrisam_sa.

Huge and heartfelt congratulations to all the worthy award recipients, and a big thank you to all the teams involved in the success of this project and present on the night from @gvk_siyazama, @rdcpropertygroup and @sutherlandengineers.
