Philip Mothoteng, a distinguished finance expert from Botswana, has taken on the role of Group Finance Director at RDC’s Gaborone Head Offices. With over 15 years of experience in the finance sector, Mothoteng has consistently demonstrated excellence in key roles, including Finance Manager/Director at Unitrans Botswana, where he managed finance and procurement functions. His previous position as Group Financial Controller at the BSE-listed Cresta Marakanelo Limited and Kgalagadi Breweries Limited further highlights his proficiency in providing strategic financial guidance in large corporates. Mothoteng, who holds an Executive MBA, is widely respected for his expertise in financial control and corporate governance. His in-depth local knowledge and proven track record are set to play a crucial role in guiding RDC’s financial strategies.
Also joining the group is Saleem Khan, who has taken on the role of Group Financial Manager, based in RDC’s Cape Town Offices. Khan brings over 20 years of experience in various roles, from hotel accountant to group financial manager in several hotel management companies. His career includes key positions such as CFO and Commercial Director at aha Hotels & Lodges, where he played a pivotal role in driving financial performance. Khan’s extensive background in leadership roles across prominent hotel groups makes him a valuable asset in overseeing RDC’s finance operations.
