RDC Properties Limited is pleased to welcome Jonathan Bloch as an Independent Non-Executive Director to its Board.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce Honours degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town. He brings almost four decades of experience in the financial services sector, including more than twenty years in senior leadership roles within Investec and its wealth management division, both locally and internationally. Prior to this, he was Managing Director of Merrill Lynch Cape Town and began his career as a stockbroker at Simpson McKie. Jonathan has also lectured in Economics at the University of Cape Town and has extensive governance experience through trustee roles for family trusts and charitable foundations, as well as directorships of private companies. His strong financial expertise, institutional investment experience and property sector knowledge will further strengthen the Board as the Company continues to pursue its strategic objectives.
Jonathan’s appointment follows the retirement of Gary Fisher and Simon Susman from the Board.
Gary joined the Board in March 2022 and brought extensive property asset management expertise, strategic insight and more than three decades of industry experience. Simon, who also joined the Board in March 2022, provided invaluable leadership and governance, supported by his distinguished business career and extensive experience serving on local and international boards.
