Chobe Marina Lodge proudly served as the official opening function’s caterer for the 18th Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage, welcoming over 1,000 UNESCO delegates.

Held at the Cresta Mowana Resort in Kasane, Botswana from December 4th to 9th, 2023, the conference was chaired by H.E. Mr. Mustaq Moorad, Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of the Republic of Botswana to UNESCO. This prestigious event coincided with the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention, a landmark agreement that has significantly strengthened global efforts to preserve living traditions and cultural expressions.
