The Independent Schools Association of Botswana (ISAB) recently concluded its annual conference retreat at Chobe Marina Lodge, held from June 9th to 13th. The ISAB Conference is a cornerstone event in Botswana’s educational calendar, where heads of schools gather to foster a holistic approach to education, emphasising a balanced curriculum within purposeful environments.
Throughout the retreat, attendees engaged in discussions, workshops, and networking sessions aimed at sharing best practices. Thornhill Primary School, Matshwane, Mophato, and others joined this year’s ISAB conference, highlighting Botswana’s diverse educational landscape. ISAB holds a special place at Chobe Marina Lodge, having been our longest-standing and most reliable guests for years. Their annual retreats feel like family gatherings, and it’s always a pleasure to welcome them back each year.
Looking ahead, Chobe Marina Lodge eagerly anticipates hosting ISAB again next year, continuing to facilitate meaningful dialogue and collaboration among educators dedicated to excellence.
