Capitalgro, a majority-owned subsidiary of RDC Properties Limited, has reached a significant leasing milestone with the launch of Telus Digital’s new site in Maitland, Cape Town.
On 25 June 2025, Telus Digital officially launched operations at 65 & 69 Voortrekker Road — one of Capitalgro’s flagship properties. Telus has signed a 10-year lease, taking full occupancy of the 11,417 sqm building and marking an important achievement in the portfolio.
Telus is a multinational Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) company listed on both the New York Stock Exchange and the Toronto Stock Exchange. The establishment of their new Cape Town site has resulted in the creation of more than 1,500 jobs, contributing significantly to the local economy.
The launch event was attended by members of Telus’s global senior management team from Canada, including their Group CEO. In his speech, the CEO thanked Capitalgro for their dedication in securing the lease and for collaborating effectively with Telus’s design team to complete the fit-out.
Representing Capitalgro at the event were Gary Fisher (Chairman of the Capitalgro Board), Shaheen Adams (Director), Jurgen Bornman (Head of Facilities), and Amber-Rose Bailey (Property Manager). The event offered an opportunity to further strengthen the relationship with this valued tenant and celebrate this milestone achievement together.
