“I am been back now for two weeks but left a piece of my heart in Botswana. One of the reasons I feel this way is because of our stay at Chobe Marina Lodge. It was like living in a giant tree house! I loved everything about this place—the baboons and vervet monkeys walking across our path; the warthog that greeted us on the way to our room; the breathtaking sunsets over the river; the close proximity to Chobe National Park (the elephants!!); and our amazing guide, Hero, on the boat game cruise and in the park. The food was delicious (and they always had gluten free options). The spa was a nice treat and they had a cute curio shop as well. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated with a separate living area. I can’t think of one negative thing to say…this place is a must on your bucket list! Thanks to the entire staff at Chobe Marina Lodge (you all shine!) for making my time in Botswana unforgettable. If 6 stars were an option, Chobe Marina Lodge would deserve it!”
