At the company’s Annual General Meeting held on May 24, 2023, RDC announced the retirement of two Independent Non-Executive Directors, Bogolo Kenewendo and Lesang Magang. The Boardexpressed sincere gratitude to both directors.
Ms. Kenewendo’s departure acknowledged with appreciation, recognising her valuable contributions throughout this period of transformation. Likewise, Mr. Magang’s exceptional contribution, support, and guidance over the last two decades were sincerely appreciated by the Board.
Considering these changes, RDC Property Group welcomes Sithabile Mathe as an Independent Non-Executive Director, extending a warm welcome to her and acknowledging the unique skillset she brings to the board. Ms. Mathe’s proven track record of success in the built environment and recent appointment to the Board signifies
RDC’s commitment to strengthening leadership and embracing diverse perspectives within its decision-making processes.
Ms. Mathe holds a degree in Architecture from Glasgow, Scotland, and is the founder of Moralo Designs, an esteemed architectural practice offering a wide range of services. Her expertise encompasses Urban Design, Architectural Design, Landscape Design, Interior Design, and Project Management. Ms. Mathe has also held key leadership positions in prominent organisations such as the Architect’s Registration Council of Botswana, the Botswana Housing Corporation Board, and the Architects Association of Botswana Executive Committee.
In her new role, Ms. Mathe will contribute to RDC’s Remuneration and Nomination Committee and the Investment and Property Committee, ensuring a comprehensive approach to decision-making and corporate governance. Her appointment reflects RDC’s commitment to fostering growth, innovation, and the inclusion of experienced professionals who understand the nuances of the industry.
